Road Crew Worker - ***Travel Required***
Corrective Asphalt Materials LLC, a leader in pavement preservation, is currently interviewing for an experienced Traffic Control Laborer. Training available for responsible candidates that demonstrate high attention to detail.

We are looking for a hard working individual to join our team. The primary responsibility is setting up traffic control during our application of road preservation products. The majority of your workload is comprised of road surface treatments in Southern/Central IL, Missouri, Alabama, and Minnesota. During our peak season, April - November, projects typically run 1-4 days, and 60% require overnights. Company provides individual overnight accommodations along with per diem meal allowances.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to crew supervisor
- Loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Various roadside functions including street cleaning, traffic control, inlet protection
- Equipment maintenance, Inventory control, and shop maintenance
- Deliver notifications to residents and install no parking signs prior to beginning roadwork
- Flexible in daily assignments as our work is weather dependent
- Our work load is seasonal and we have a high retention in employees through the off seasons
Skills
- Experience in road surface treatment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of roadways and traffic safety
- Able to work in a team
- Able to read maps and document effectively
- Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written)
- Good balance and hand eye coordination
- High school diploma or equivalent
