Corrigan Logistics seeking a Interstate/Long Distance Dispatcher to help support our interstate fleet while on the road. This position is full-time and onsite at our Grand Rapids, MI location.

Interstate/Long-Distance Logistics Dispatcher Responsibilities:
Driver Planning/Communication– Communicate with drivers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
Driver Tracking/Tracing – Monitor the route and schedule for each driver, making sure they are staying within the expected timelines and coordinating efficient delivery performance.
Safety Management – Ensure all drivers and vehicles are operating safely and legally, including dealing with roadside maintenance.
Daily Administrative Tasks – Responsible for driver payroll, paperwork, and order registration.
Interstate Logistics/Long-Distance Dispatcher Qualifications:
- Background in Logistics, and Dispatch required.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
- Requires above average multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Quick critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, friendly, positive, with a helpful demeanor.
- Ability to work and keep up in fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Solid computer skills with ability to learn and utilize in-house software.
