Position Summary:
Business Office Manager ensures the timely and accurate billing of each residents stay at the care community.
Position Responsibilities of the BOM:
* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all resident financial accounts
* Maintains knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, primary and third-party insurances
* Responsible for billing and collections in a timely and accurate manner.
* Collects resident resources/private pay room and board in accordance with HCF policy
* Maintenance of resident trust account and daily census information
* Works with residents, families and third parties in a professional manner
* Collaborates with local medical assistance office to ensure accurate Medicaid eligibility
* Makes bank deposits on a daily basis
* Assists with the admission process
* Participates in the QAPI process
* Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. College and/or accounting schooling preferred.
