What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Millwright position at Corry Manufacturing Company?
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation and setup of new machinery as well as maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on Manufacturing machinery & facilities
- Perform General Shop and Office Construction projects as necessary
- Upkeep and repair facility as needed, including snow removal, interior & exterior care using company machinery and resources
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations including while driving company vehicles for business purposes
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience or equivalent knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment and/or some technical education in maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems
- Possess a driver's license and posess ability to pick-up and make deliveries to local vendors.
- Work with others in a cooperative environment to trouble-shoot, assess and implement repairs and preventative maintenance to fit within production schedule.
