What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Associate position at Corsair Electrical Connectors?
Responsibilities:
- Perform various accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
- General ledger reconciliation
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Credit analysis and collections
- Debits and credits recording
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Utilize accounting software to input, track, and analyze financial data
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues
Backup answering light phones for break relief of two employees.
Requirements:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations and procedures
- Proficient in general ledger reconciliation techniques
- Experience working with various accounting software programs
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and financial transactions
- Ability to handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including credit analysis and collections
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and data analysis
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all accounting tasks
