OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a versatile Graphic Designer to join our creative team in the Atlanta, GA area. This role is responsible for designing a wide range of assets, from digital content to product packaging, with an emphasis on creating compelling, brand-aligned visuals that resonate with our gaming community. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sensibility and experience in both digital and print mediums. As part of the creative team within the marketing department, you will work closely with the creative team on various projects across all channels, creating engaging visual aesthetics for digital and print materials. Almost as importantly, you should not only be a passionate gamer but also be in touch with the culture that surrounds the gaming community.

Proven ability to concept, design, and execute complex product packaging
Excellent eye for design and typography with the ability to develop graphic solutions across a complex landscape of products
A thorough understanding of digital and print processes
Stays current with industry design trends and solutions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Concept, design, and deliver strong, compelling creative for social media, web, email campaigns, packaging, paid ads, and more
Leverage gaming consumer insight and trends to be used as a catalyst for creative ideation, crafting design work that connects with our audience and achieves the intended goal(s)
Design iteratively, with a grasp of typography, composition, messaging hierarchy, and balance
Ideate and design strategic D2C and retail packaging designs for new / existing products while ensuring consistency of brand identity
Collaborate with creative and product development teams to ensure packaging designs are functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective
Ensure that all designs align with SCUF’s brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all touchpoints
Assist in the development and refinement of SCUF’s brand style guide to reflect evolving design trends and customer needs
Communicate directly with digital partners, vendors, and printers globally and understand the requirements to prepare final files
Collaborate with 3D Designers, Photographers, and Copywriters to finalize graphics and text
Present ideas and final designs to Creative and Marketing leadership
Leverage gaming consumer insight and trends to be used as a catalyst for creative ideation
Present innovative ideas clearly and confidently in front of internal stakeholders
Participate in team ideation sessions
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must provide an online portfolio showcasing previous work. Please note : Applicants without a portfolio site will NOT be considered.
A passion for gaming and an understanding of the gaming community is a must
Understand the role of a creative brief, how work should flow from it, and how to develop ideas against it
Strong grasp of the creative development process with outstanding problem-solving skills and project ownership
Excellent understanding of production needs and can produce technically correct digital assets and print-ready mechanicals
Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize, manage, and efficiently complete multiple projects with little oversight
Able to take direction and feedback well and execute dictated design ideas when necessary
Open to change and highly adaptable to shifting needs and deadlines
Strong Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and Figma skills
Strong Keynote skills required
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bachelor's degree required and / or related work experience
3 years of agency or in-house creative team experience required
