What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, AI & Data position at CORSAIR?
What you will be working on: Team Management & Project Execution:
- Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple AI projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Translate project ideas and requirements into actionable plans, challenging and refining them as needed.
- Work closely with product teams to integrate AI features into Elgato products.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AI professionals, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and R&D Engineers.
Technical Expertise & Innovation:
- Maintain a strong understanding of current and emerging AI technologies, particularly in Generative AI, Deep Learning, NLP, an Computer Vision and Automation.
- Work closely with product teams to integrate AI features, including Large Language Models (LLMs), into Elgato products to enhance user experiences.
- Experience in context-aware AI, predictive modeling, or workflow automation.
- Ability to optimize models for low-latency, real-time execution (on-device AI is a plus)
- Provide hands-on technical contributions, balancing managerial responsibilities with technical involvement
- Lead the development and customization of Generative AI solutions in Desktop apps (Windows and macOS).
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure the development of robust data pipelines and cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong track record of developing and deploying AI solutions.
- 2 years of experience in team leadership and management.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP, and computer vision.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English; German skills are an advantage.
- A passion for AI and a desire to drive innovation.
- A passion for the Gamer and Content Creator Space
- Optional: Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, or Swift.
