Prestonwood Country, a premiere golf club in Cary, NC, has a few positions open for Swim Instructor. The Swim Lesson Instructor will lead private, semi-private, and group swim lessons to all ages and skill levels using American Red Cross Guidelines. The Swim Lesson Instructor will be responsible for creating a fun, learning environment to ensure a positive member experience. All lessons will be assigned by the Aquatics Manager. This is a Seasonal position from May 17 – August 31, 2025.
Responsibilities
The Swim Lesson Instructor should have a current Water Safety Instructor Certificate and/or at least 2 seasons of swim team or teaching experience. He/she should communicate, demonstrate, and supervise safety requirements during the teaching of lessons.
We offer competitive pay of $18 per hour plus 25% commission.

Responsibilities
- Be prepared to connect with students using fun and creative methods.
- Ensure an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participants.
- After lesson, communicate with students/parents regarding skill development.
- Be knowledgeable about Prestonwood Aquatics programs and products.
- Enforce pool/club policies.
- CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire
- Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid preferred
- Swim Lesson instruction or coaching experience preferred
