Your day as a Greenhouse Assistant
Are you a people person with a passion for gardening and customer service? As a Greenhouse Assistant at Corso's Garden Center, you'll be the friendly face helping customers find their perfect plants in our greenhouse and nursery. From colorful annuals to majestic trees, you'll guide shoppers in selecting the ideal greenery for their outdoor oasis.

What matters most
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Assist customers with questions relating to trees, shrubs, and plants.
- Water, clean, and maintain plants and the nursery lot area.
- Maintain proper rotation and freshness of product.
- Restock plant materials and all other store items.
- Maintains positive relationships and assists customers with plant purchases.
- Extensive Walking up to 5 miles a day in Peak Season (March - July)
- Become knowledgeable with plants, trees, shrubs and flowers.
- Assist with unloading and pricing plant shipments.
- Experience with forklifts or skid-steers is a plus.
- Maintains a clean work environment through sweeping and squeegeeing floors.
- Practices and complies with all OSHA and Company safety policies and practices.
- Answer phone calls and take orders over the phone.
- All other duties as assigned.
