Job Description:
As a Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead at Cortec, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued functionality of our equipment and facilities. This is a fast-paced work environment, working on different equipment daily.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on production machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on machines and systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and setup of new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting, preferably in metal fabrication. (2 years of experience min.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems. (2 years of experience min.)
- Experience with Haas CNC, Amada and Laser equipment. (2 years of experience min.)
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment. (2 years of experience min.)
