Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT Support Technician to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting all computer, technical, and network usability for our client's infrastructures. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading and monitoring software and hardware. The Support Technician will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs.
We are searching for a Full Time Employee but we can be flexible if you need to start part-time before transitioning to full time status.
IT Support Technician Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to client requests for assistance by phone and email
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software and hardware
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems
- Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software
- Prepare software, computer setup, and network configuration for new users
- Collaborate with IT team to resolve problems
- Record and document issues and resolutions
- Perform data backups
- Install and update network system improvements as needed
- Work extensively with the following software or services : Veeam, ESX, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Exchange, Office 365, Barracuda, SonicWALL, and Windows 10 / 11
