Data Analyst

Corteva Agriscience LLC seeks a full-time Data Analyst based in Champaign, IL. This position is responsible for the deployment of operational methods for the integration and organic technical improvement of the Pasture & Land Management (P&LM) Digital Tools decision support platform. Req: Master’s degree or equivalent in Geographic Information Science, Agricultural Science, or related field & 3 years related exp. Must also have 24 months of exp with each of the following: (1) perform Quality Assurance checks on incoming agricultural data feature sets using ArcGIS and connect data sets into enterprise geodata systems; (2) collaborate with commercial reps, biologists, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialists to conduct advanced time-series analysis on multifarious and highly intricate data sets pertaining to agricultural ecosystems. Expertise in leveraging these analyses to inform sophisticated and data-driven management strategies; (3) experience in developing sophisticated web-based data analytical tools and technologies, with advanced skills in R, Python, and the creation of applications for cloud, Linux, and Windows platforms; (4) experience in Crop and Land Use classification, encompassing the delineation and differentiation of areas covered by diverse plant species and varying land types; and (5) experience utilizing the following tools and technologies: Enterprise-level R/Shiny full-stack development solutions, ArcPy modules, time-series predictive modeling, and Object-Based Image Analysis using ECognition software. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Salary: $99,549 to $124,000/year. Full-time position located in Champaign, IL. Includes a telecommuting benefit within commuting distance to a Champaign, IL office, as directed.
