We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Technician to join our team at Corteva Agriscience's Maxton NC production location. As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-level electrical and mechanical installations and maintenance of facilities, field, and plant equipment.
This critical work directly affects safety, function, longevity, and overall operation of electrical and mechanical equipment at the plant. You will utilize your electrical skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment as well as electrical, security, and communications systems.
Requirements for this role include previous electrical experience working with voltages ranging from 24v to 480v 3 phase. You should also have good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and knowledge of electrical panels and how to troubleshoot them.
Shift work is included in this role, which may include nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. This includes rotating 12 hr shifts and 8 hr shifts based on seasonal production demand. An electrical journeyman license is required for this role.
- Maintaining and working on various electrical equipment (12V to 480V).
- Interpreting electric code application.
- Performing preventative maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Maintaining appropriate maintenance inventory and repair logs.
