Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supporting plant operations, delivering maintenance support for capital projects, and maintaining the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support plant operations by performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Deliver maintenance support for capital projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools by performing regular inspections and repairs.
- Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Execute proactive, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance as needed.
- Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.
- Create, continually update, and train on preventative maintenance plans for varied equipment.
- Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.
- Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility.
- Perform minor electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid US driver's license.
- Basic mechanical and equipment knowledge on conveyors, gearboxes, chains, etc.
- The ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Three (3) years of education and experience of Industrial Electromechanical and/or Maintenance experience (e.g., HVAC, Millwright, Welding, Pneumatic Controls, Hydraulics, etc.).
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic repair and test equipment.
- Previous experience or knowledge of heating/cooling, refrigeration, security, materials handling equipment (i.e., conveyors, elevator legs, packaging equipment, etc.) or other mechanical/electrical systems.
- Truck and forklift driving skills.
