Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Corteva Agriscience. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plant equipment, as well as supporting Plant Operations.
About the Role:
- You will regularly perform maintenance and troubleshooting on plant equipment, and facilities.
- Support Plant Operations by ensuring smooth operation of machinery and equipment.
- Deliver maintenance support for capital projects to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct seasonal prep work, including Annual Preventative Maintenance, Repairs, and Improvements.
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.
- Complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
- Utilize Predictive Maintenance tools to detect and remedy future machine failures.
- Create, continually update, and train Preventative Maintenance plans for varied equipment.
- Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.
- Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.
- Accurately complete appropriate records, documents, and reports as required.
- Varying other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You possess a minimum of two (2) years of direct experience in Industrial Maintenance, Production, Operations, Agriculture, or related field.
- You should be able to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions effectively.
- You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- You are comfortable with technology and possess excellent computer aptitude, including Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: climb and/or work in elevated areas; stand and sit for extended periods; work outdoors and indoors within hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions.
- You are also willing and able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs. and perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting.
- You have a valid US Driver's License.

About You:
- You have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or technical fields.
- You possess knowledge of production agriculture and associated machinery.
- You have basic level building electrical systems knowledge.
- You know heating/cooling, refrigeration, security, materials handling equipment (i.e., conveyors, elevator legs, packaging equipment, etc.), or other mechanical/electrical systems.
- You have millwright skills, especially relevant to the seed industry.
- You are proficient in truck and forklift driving skills.
- You know pneumatic and hydraulic repair and test equipment.
- You have basic process control understanding.
