This individual is responsible for partnering with the North America Seed Operations team to manage over $2B of Cost of Goods Sold and Other Cost of Revenue. Candidate should display ability to clearly articulate financial impact of business decisions while working collaboratively with business partners to evaluate multiple outcomes. Owner’s mindset and ability to influence are highly desired for this role.
This role reports to the Director of North America Commercial Finance and serves as a strategic partner to the North America Seed Operations Senior Director and leadership team to provide timely, accurate and insightful financial information, understanding critical drivers and improvement areas for all cost of revenue buckets for the region.

Primary Responsibilities - What you will do to help us grow!
- Partner with NA Seed Operations leadership team to drive efficient and effective use of assets and resources to manage COGS.
- Responsible for analysis of monthly actuals and forecast to ensure accurate reflection of expectations, including P&L and balance sheet.
- Actively incorporate inventory implications are part of business decision evaluations.
- Work collaboratively with North America seed controllership to anticipate and incorporate key assumption changes.
- Act a finance lead in monthly supply review process.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive productivity projects and ensure accurate financial impact.
- Finance lead for varied strategic analyses to support the business including Asset Footprint, Make vs Buy, M&A, and Capital.
- Active business partner to identify risks & opportunities and key actions to mitigate.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Corteva Finance function.
- Ensure controls compliance and ethical standards
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- MBA/CPA/CMA preferred
- 5 years with prior roles in finance or accounting.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong Excell skill required.
- PowerBI knowledge a plus.
- Prior Cost Accounting or related role experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
- Ability to collaborate and influence business partners.

- Strong analytical capabilities.
