Corteva Agriscience has an opportunity for a Regulatory Analyst at our Global Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN.
A Regulatory Analyst (RA) is a crucial member of several regulatory teams, each of which is comprised of a Regulatory Leader, a Regulatory Specialist and an RA with the primary purpose of gaining and maintaining Corteva registrations in the United States at both the Federal and State level for a number of active ingredients and products. Strong Communication skills are required as the position requires a high level of interaction with the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and State regulatory personnel as well as cross-functional interactions within the company including commercial, supply chain and other R&D functions. An RA has responsibilities for the implementation and tracking of actions and registration strategies set by the regulatory teams. Each regulatory team has responsibility for multiple products so the candidate must have strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task complex and agency specific processes and prioritize their workload appropriately. The RA must work effectively on a high level both internally and externally, with large, diverse networks and serves as the subject matter expert or Focal Point for variety of internal and external technical capabilities to support Federal and State needs. High levels of communication with external regulatory authorities, such as the EPA, State agencies and Corteva partners (e.g., Regulatory Sciences, various R&D functions, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Global Regulatory Leaders).
What You'll Do :
- Support Regulatory Team Leaders and Regulatory Specialist in assembling letters, forms, data, and other documentation for regulatory submission to Federal and State government agencies to successfully address business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Planning, updating, implementing, tracking, and ensuring accuracy of regulatory actions and registration strategies in a database to support US Crop Protection Regulatory and their inter-dependencies between Commercial Units for both Federal and State Submissions.
- Monitors and responds appropriately to communications / actions received from the states in the functional mailboxes.
- Leads the product renewal process at both the Federal and the State agencies.
- Lead or actively participate on regulatory improvement and operational excellence projects.
- Assist State Regulatory Leaders in resolving state regulatory submission issues and documenting changes unique to each state to ensure successful submissions.
- Serve as regulatory focal points with internal and external responsibilities to ensure consistency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in areas such as : confidential statement of formula (CSF) support, ALSTAR and NPIRS partnership, training, Regulatory Activity Management System (RAMS) management, and creation of best practices.
- Create, update, and maintain EPA date matrices.
- Provide support to validate shipment of products within and to states ensuring compliance with registration requirements as part of the internal Check & Release process.
- Validate, align, and maintain registration data for Corteva products in a registration database that is the global repository for business-critical registration records of registered Crop Protection products.
- Create workflows, dashboards, and reports to facilitate communication of the status of submissions and planning / strategy discussions.
- Work closely with state agencies to understand FIFRA and non-FIFRA submission and reporting requirements to ensure high quality and timely submissions.
