Come join our team in the role of Sales Effectiveness Manager. This position is responsible for the strategic planning efforts focused on Sales Effectiveness. This position's purpose is to increase the overall sales effectiveness of the Pest Management business to increase profitable market share and create sustainable growth. Execute overall strategies, tactical execution and coordination across Territories with District Sales Leaders. Work with Territory Managers and District Sales Leaders to develop and track short- and long-term territory plans that support partners needs and market opportunities. Identify sales training and development opportunities for sales personnel. This role will also be keen on current and future market dynamics.
What You'll Do:
Territory Coverage Management
Partnering with Territory Managers and District Sales Leaders to identify and plan key priorities and market opportunities for each Territory. Work with Territory Managers to build out territory and business plans that support partner initiatives. Support execution of territory plans. Optimize territory coverage to ensure that market opportunities are recognized.
Sales Training & Development
Identify key areas and needs for sales training, development and processes (Technical, Product, Selling). Build out sales training and development resources. Conduct continuous education trainings for Sales Organization to evolve with the market
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with Sales Leader and other functional business teams to align on goals and strategies. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
What You'll Need:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entomology or related area
Experience
- 5 years of strong sales experience
Demonstrated knowledge of
- Selling skills and techniques along with financial analysis
- Market and marketing dynamics
- Sales, cycles, forecasting and dynamics
- Competitive products and service offerings
- Strategic planning
Demonstrated ability to:
- Build and maintain strong relationship with business leaders, business functions, key stakeholders, key industry and market influencers
- Lead through influence
- Implement and track effective sales strategies
- Analyze data and identify market trends
- Adapt or shift priorities
- Manage, coach and develop
- Successfully collaborate with other leaders and business functions
Demonstrated skills in:
- Selling, negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution and handling objections
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate market, customer and competitive data
Travel:
- 60 percent travel
Location:
The preferred location is Indianapolis, IN, but will consider other locations in the United States.
