What You'll Do
- Supervise seed treatment and packaging operations.
- Depth knowledge on seed treatment and packaging machines, including their operations, capabilities, and maintenance needs.
- Lead and manage the seed treatment and packaging team, assigning responsibilities and monitoring individual and team performance. Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Optimize resource planning and operational efficiency (including labor, infrastructure, and equipment) to meet site objectives.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed, and breakdowns are addressed promptly.
- Develop and implement quality policies and procedures, monitor and evaluate effectiveness of quality control systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatment and packaging operations, generate KPIs and provide regular reports.
- Follow safety policies, protocols, and procedures, and ensure a safe working environment for self and team members.
- Preferred education & experience: Bachelor's or master’s degree in crop sciences, industrial management or related field AND 3-5 years of proven experience in seed treatment, packaging, or a similar field, with strong expertise in operating and maintaining relevant machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and manage a team effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of treatment and packaging machines, their functions, and maintenance coordination; willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills for effective coordination with teams and management.
