Corteva Agriscience has an opportunity to join our Population Development team in Kekaha, Hawaii, as a Shadehouse Logistics Supervisor. This position is part of team that manages Shadehouse operations to meet the quality, quantity, and timeline targets for project deliverables. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and possess basic knowledge of plant biology and / or horticulture. They should have experience with horticulture equipment, managing people, and using computers. An interest in both indoor and outdoor is essential. They need a positive, collaborative attitude, good communication and critical thinking skills, and a knack for creative problem solving. This position involves supervising Research Assistants and coordinating activities with other groups and teams. Responsibilities - What You'll Do :
- Manage day-to-day activities in the Doubled Haploid Shadehouse operation with a focus on horticulture equipment, plant discard, and Shadehouse maintenance. This includes overseeing soil-media preparation, inventory management, and coordinating minor repairs of equipment and Shadehouses.
- Supervise full-time employees and contingent workers, ensuring work is performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with protocols and regulations.
- Promote positive work attitudes and harmonious relations.
- Communicate openly with team and supervisors on matters of relevance to ensure key steps are completed in a timely and collaborative manner
- Willing and able to work flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends during peak periods or when required.
- Support all Hawaii Research Center goals and support other projects when needed.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $77,000.00 - $85,000.00 . This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
