What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply and Allocation Manager, AgVenture position at Corteva Agriscience?
AgVenture has an opening for a Supply and Allocation Manager. This role will collaborate with MCS supply Group, Production Department, Operational Manager, Product Team, and Business Development managers to provide timely and accurate information. Also provides exemplary customer service and support by being able to navigate and diagnose needs and then respond using a wide and dynamic base of information and resources to achieve business-unit goals and objectives. Manage assigned processes from inception through completion and review, ensuring that business needs are met, and risk exposure is minimized. Identify problems, initiate corrective actions, and maintain regular communications with multiple groups inside and outside AgVenture. Develop and implement consistent business process improvements and systems that enhance AgVenture’s ability to develop and execute plans for all product lines. Participate on or lead cross-functional teams and assist various personnel with a wide range of analytical applications to improve the integration of the supply process with the processes of other functions with AgVenture.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for coordinating the movement of product to meet sales demand signals.
- Assists the Operations Manager with day-to-day communication and interaction with MCS to manage, coordinate, and facilitate supply chain and logistics functions.
- Assists the Operations Manager with cross-functional coordination regarding conditioning, packaging and supply logistics with remote conditioning facilities.
- Oversee allocating, monitoring, placing and positioning product for ISC.
- Works with the Operations Manager planning supply to effectively identify and promote future growth potential and maximize profitability in alignment with AgVenture's sales goals.
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate supply, logistics, and progress reports to the Operations Manager.
- Obtains and maintain a understanding of product knowledge, performance, positioning and placement.
- Participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to support supply chain effectiveness
Manage product allocations

Guide product moves, cuts/substitutions, and winter production product allocations
- Direct product moves at the ISC Level, cuts/substitutions, and winter production allocations with the guidance of team
- Proactively suggest and manage product substitution
- Drive “sell the plan” strategy
Order Management
- Manage the packaging of in season orders
- Manage AVI sales orders in TouchPoint and Managed Supply for all product lines
- Promote accurate data transmissions to keep systems updated
Assist in demand planning
- Support summer package & treatment activity
- Review and check Sales Rep demand plans
- Demonstrate implications of Rep demand plans on their product supply
- Review annual AVI performance vs. demand plan
- Support system questions
Systems Knowledge/Support
- Understand the SeedWare system and assist in supporting questions.
- Work with all internal Pioneer systems including R3, Managed Supply, SharePoint, Excel, and Pivot tables.
- Continue to develop professionally by remaining current with new technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in logistics, customer service, supply management, warehouse management, or information management is required.
- A combination of these experience bases is preferred.
- General knowledge and experience with the SAP operating system is preferred.
- Visa sponsorship and International Relocation are NOT available for this position.

- Allocation and Order Management: Able to facilitate the product movement process independently and provide guidance on long/short products based on recommendations from management
