Position : Senior DevSecOps Engineer
Location : Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Job Type : Contract
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experience with security scanning tools and techniques, including SAST, secrets management, and dependency scanning.
- Hands-on experience in building and managing DevSecOps pipelines, and the ability to collaborate with DevOps teams.
- Proficiency in using GitLab, including GitLab Scan Execution Policies and pipeline management.
- Knowledge of AWS, particularly in building and securing serverless web applications and API Gateway.
- Experience in conducting architecture reviews and threat modeling using various methodologies.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities, such as implementing security fixes versus new feature requests.
- Strong skills in monitoring and logging, including prioritizing metrics, identifying security issues, and ensuring data security and compliance.
