Construction Senior Project Manager

This is an opportunity for a person with Construction Senior Project Management skills to join a fun and experienced team at a mid-sized Woman-Owned Commercial General Contractor in Redmond, Washington.  We do Tenant Improvement and other specialty work for premier clients throughout the Seattle / Puget Sound area.

Duties will be varied, as we are still growing. They may include:

• Build industry relationships through the pursuit, development and delivery of successful projects.
• Lead, manage, train and mentor the team.
• Develop and maintain great working relationships with field supervisors, clients, subcontractors, consultants and other team members.
• Source and secure new business opportunities by establishing contacts and sustaining long term relationships.
• Coordinate with project field personnel, architects, designers, clients, and subcontractors. 
• Identify workplace safety hazards and take necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize them.
• Manage project subcontractors including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, monitoring budget and cost, manage billings, etc.,
• Act as the “information hub” for project to office and field personnel to ensure continuity of work.

Education & Experience 

• Excellent teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, and/or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• 8 years project management experience, preferably with a Commercial General Contractor. 
• Broad Knowledge of Design Build techniques, DBIA certification a plus.
• Full knowledge of computer software such as MS Office. Knowledge of Scheduling and PM Software. Auto-CAD, Bluebeam and/or Spectrum/Project Site helpful.

Compensation: 

• Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000
