Cortina Solutions is seeking a Business Advisor to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Duties:
- Provide comprehensive business analysis and advisory services to senior government leaders within the department on special, high-priority, or emerging actions and procedures.
- Analyze complex data, policies, and processes to provide strategic advice aimed at improving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational outcomes for the Space Force.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key business and operational challenges, and propose innovative solutions to address them.
- Assist in the planning and execution of the stand-up phase for new programs, policies, or organizational structures within the department.
- Advise on resource allocation, financial management, and process improvement to enhance mission readiness and sustainability.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings to communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates to senior government officials and decision-makers.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that business operations within the department remain competitive and compliant with evolving standards.
- Support the implementation of new business initiatives, tracking their progress, and ensuring that objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and contribute to team development.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with the Department of Defense
- Active Top Secret Security clearance
- Proven experience in providing business advisory services, with a focus on government, space, or defense sector operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
