What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Analyst position at Cortina Solutions?
Cortina Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Duties:
- Managing Human Resources (HR) information systems (HRIS)
- Maintain and update the organization’s military performance reports in accordance with US Space Force and US Air Force instructions and policy
- Provide status briefings to shareholders regarding various HR issues, including personnel promotions, performance, and other HR matters
- Manage and oversee military promotion programs
- Assist in the submission and processing of military and civilian awards and decorations
- Develop and implement compensation strategies to attract, retain and motivate employees
- Assist in the recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to ensure alignment with workforce needs and accomplishing the organization’s mission
- Provide guidance and consultations to employees regarding benefits.
- Assist management in using established HRSI to establish, maintain, and monitor effective performance management programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources; additional experience may be used in lieu of degree
- Proficiency is HRIS systems
- Strong ability to analyze metrics, identify trends and provide insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance
- Active Top Secret Security clearance
