What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intelligence Analyst position at Cortina Solutions?
Cortina Solutions is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Duties:
- Research, gather, and analyze information from all intelligence disciplines to determine potential threats and possible courses of action
- Interfacing with the National Space Defense Center (NSDC) to develop and recommend intelligence requirements and procedures to support appropriate capabilities
- Interface with the Space Security and Defense Program and Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SSDP/SWAC) to identify gaps
- Collaborate with appropriate Field Commands, Integrated Mission Deltas and Acquisition agencies to develop and recommend intelligence requirements and procedures
- Define and recommend intelligence support for systems and assist in the development of CONOPs in coordination with the appropriate tasking organizations
- Analyze all available intelligence sources and projected future threats to assist in the identification and development of codified threat list(s) for approved programs
- Develop briefings, documents, presentations and reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with DoD
- Strong ability to collect, interpret and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends
- Proficiency in intelligence tools and databases
- Ability to assess the reliability of sources, evaluate potential threats and make sound recommendations
- Expertise in specific regions, languages or focus areas is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active Top Secret Security clearance
