Operations Analyst

Cortina Solutions is seeking an Operations Analyst to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Duties:

• Perform analysis on pre-test predictions, models, and simulations to design test events, define data collection requirements, and establish go/no-go criteria.
• Develop Data Management and Analysis Plans (DMAP) to guide data collection for M&S, real-time test execution, and post-mission analysis.
• Create and review test planning documentation, including Test Plans, Test Information Sheets, Safety Packages, Data Analysis Plans, and Test Readiness Briefs.
• Monitor the gathering of M&S data and real-time test parameters to evaluate system configurations, performance, and architecture.
• Set up data requests, process data, and conduct quality control reviews, including anomaly resolution.
• Analyze test data according to the Data Analysis Plan to assess system performance, effectiveness, and suitability.
• Create and enhance data analysis tools to support advanced testing and simulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in one or more of the following: Statics and Experimental Design, Database Management, or Big Data Analytics.
• Experience with commercial test and space M&S tools like Satellite Tool Kit (STK).
• Familiarity with space system architectures, satellite and ground segment design, EO/IR/RF sensors, astrodynamics, propulsion, guidance navigation and control (GNC), space data communications, or space battle management and control.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience in evaluating complex test simulations and scenarios.
• Active Top Secret Security clearance
