Cortina Solutions is seeking a Product Strategy Intern to provide entry-level part-time administrative duties in the corporate office. This position will be responsible for supporting the development of commercialization strategies for our SBIR grant applications. This includes conducting market analysis, assessing intellectual property, developing revenue forecasts, and contributing to financial and resource planning efforts. You will collaborate closely with technical and business teams to establish a plan to successfully transition research into viable products for military and commercial markets.
Job Duties:
- Conduct thorough market research and analyze the competitive landscape
- Develop product value propositions and assess intellectual property protection
- Utilize market data and trends to create future revenue estimates
- Identify necessary resources for successful commercialization of various products
- Develop a detailed product development and marketing plan
Job Requirements:
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate program in a STEM or Business field

- Experience with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must display a solid understanding of both engineering and business principles
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience with financial modeling and revenue forecasting is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information
- Able to work independently, solve challenging problems, and get the job done
- Must be able to work 40 hours per month
