What are the responsibilities and job description for the Schedule Analyst position at Cortina Solutions?
Cortina Solutions is seeking a Schedule Analyst to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Duties:
- Collects, processes and calculates cost-and-schedule data to analyze program performance and progress
- Develop, maintain, and update the program office’s Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Provide integrated master schedule analysis including risk assessments
- Identify opportunities to improve program executability
- Brief reports and findings to leadership team and shareholders
- Ensuring compliance for programs with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements
- Oversee developing, planning and maintaining detailed schedules; coordinate and consolidate schedules to ensure all detailed work plans are consistent with scheduling policies and included in the Integrated Master Schedule; troubleshooting and monitoring potential scheduling problems; provide input and recommendations to project managers and senior management regarding scheduling conflicts/changes
- Provide support to the Program Management Office and Control Account Managers on the planning and implementation of EVNS processes to ensure compliance
- Provide objective-oriented recommendations utilizing EVMS guidelines and general policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with DoD
- Understanding of EVMS principles and processes
- Ability to analyze schedule performance, cost variances, and key performance indicators
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, DCMA standards, and other government compliance requirements related to scheduling and EVMS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active Top Secret Security clearance
