Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Lifeguards. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the pool area to prevent accidents and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions, providing assistance, and addressing concerns
- Perform pool cleaning duties, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and maintaining proper chemical levels
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Administer CPR, first aid, or other emergency medical procedures when necessary
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks such as backwashing filters, checking water temperature, and adjusting water chemistry levels
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not required
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of lifeguarding techniques
- Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) for equipment setup and removal
