Overview : Job Summary :
This position is essential for fostering cohesive and high-performing dental teams across multiple practice sites. Collaborating closely with the Chief Dental Officer, VP of Clinical Performance, Chief Field Operations, Regional Dental Directors, and District Managers, this role focuses on mentoring and coaching all doctors, overseeing personnel management, enhancing client and patient satisfaction, and serving as a model for office teams.
Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with all dental board regulations and government standards, including CMS, HIPAA, and OSHA. Oversee follow-ups on compliance and office audits in partnership with the Chief Dental Officer.
- Develop, coach, and mentor doctors to maximize their performance, particularly during the onboarding process. Focus on doctor engagement and retention, especially for those facing performance challenges or considering leaving.
- Work closely with offices to ensure effective management of programs, thorough training of staff, development and execution of SMART plans, and achievement of customer service excellence.
- Promote the delivery of positive and memorable experiences for patients and their families.
- Support doctors in identifying and referring patients for specialized services as required.
- Collaborate with specialists in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, and General Anesthesia.
- Address and resolve clinical patient concerns within 24 hours at the request of District Managers.
- Ensure doctors are responsive to after-hours calls.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to oversee the selection and onboarding of new personnel.
