Job Description
As a Part-Time Associate Dentist at Cortland Dental & Braces, you will be responsible for providing dental services to patients with the support of your team. Our practice has advanced dental technology and software, including DentaPro, digital x-ray and Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces.
- We have a patient base primarily consisting of children and young adults, with up to 30% adult population depending on the location.
- The office flow includes an average of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients.
- We participate in state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payor mix.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing dental services to patients with the support of your team.
- Utilizing advanced dental technology and software.
- Collaborating with a dedicated staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- A current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure.
- Other certifications as required, such as CPR, DEA, and Nitrous Oxide certification.
- Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults.
