Leasing Consultant

The activities listed below are not all-inclusive and can evolve and shift with the needs of the property. This is a high-level overview of the daily aspects of this role.
Property/Office:
- Provide essential support to the Property Manager.
- Operate office equipment and required software.
- Answer phones, greet customers, handle filing, and report resident service requests in an organized and concise manner.
- Manage inventory of leasing office refreshments, marketing collateral, etc.
- Guide prospective tenants through the entire leasing process, from touring to move-in, including lease-related paperwork.
- Plan and organize resident events to enhance resident retention.
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective residents.
- Market available units to potential renters.
- Coordinate with maintenance, assist with work order management.
- Ensure that common areas, the office, model paths, model units, and market-ready units are prepared for showing during office hours.
- Assist with move-in and move-out inspections.
- Contribute to the lease renewal process.
- Prepare and coordinate bulk resident communications, as required.
- Conduct research and gather data for relevant reports, such as Market Surveys.
- Adhere to Corum's Policies & Procedures manual.
- Manage all deposits and SODA accounts.

Knowledge/Training:
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current Fair Housing and ADA regulations.
- Stay informed about the local market and competitors.
- Participate in continuing education programs and in-house meetings and training sessions as directed by your supervisor.
- Attend and engage in outside or in-house activities, meetings, organizations, and regulatory agencies as directed by the supervisor.
Resident Relations:
- Ensure a positive and prompt response to resident requests.
- Resolve issues promptly and to the satisfaction of both residents and the property.
- Maintain a professional image of yourself, the property, Corum Real Estate, and the client within the community.
Requirements:
Must maintain a current driver's license in the state of employment and carry appropriate insurance, as the Leasing Consultant may occasionally use their personal vehicle for work-related duties.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday - Friday
