Your Role as an Orthodontic Assistant You’ll play a key role in creating positive patient experiences and ensuring treatment stays on track. Your responsibilities will include: Welcoming & Preparing Patients – Make patients feel comfortable, assist with seating, and build positive relationships with families. Providing Clinical Support – Assist the orthodontist with procedures, clean/disinfect operatories, sterilize instruments, and take x-rays, photos, impressions, and intraoral scans. Patient Education – Provide clear instructions and progress updates to patients and parents/guardians. Practice Growth – Help maintain treatment schedules and ensure a seamless patient experience. Professional Communication – Maintain accurate patient records and generate correspondence for referring dentists.
