POSITION TITLE: Production Associate
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Production Supervisor
PAY STRUCTURE: Hourly
Work Schedule: Friday - Sunday 5:00AM - 5:00PM
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Efficient operation of assembly equipment and other assembly tasks to safely produce and pack quality products to meet customer requirements.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
- Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment preferred
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles preferred
- High school diploma / GED preferred

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 12 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must have excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills
- Ability to work OT as needed
- Must be able to use and read various measuring devices
- Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
- Ability to understand multiple types of assembly machine functions
- Problem solving knowledge and ability
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
- Follow standardized work instructions
- Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
- Observe general and specific safety rules. This includes observing light curtain and other safety devices while the machine is in operation
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
- Process equipment to produce quality product, notify appropriate personnel if outside of parameters
- Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, scrap and downtime
- Rework and repair defective parts as needed
- Responsible for the quality of product produced and identifying any non-compliant component parts
- Responsible for assuring proper labeling is applied to finished goods containers
- Accountable for packed finished goods
- Able to train others as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
