CorVel Corporation, a leading provider of health management and billing technology, is seeking a collaborative Carrier Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will work on a small team providing triage and support for incoming carrier communications and their resolution. The Carrier Solutions Specialist reports to the Carrier Solutions Manager and Supervisor.
This is a remote position.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $33,233 – $53,445

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Participate in all activities pertaining to the intake, triage, and resolution of incoming carrier communications, inquiries and requests
- Provide timely response and superior support to internal and external customers
- Follow team-defined processes for logging and tracking information
- Enjoy research, be detail oriented, and able to collate complex information
- Work closely with multiple teams across the enterprise
- Maintain and work with large, complex Excel spreadsheets
- Facilitate multi-team meetings
- Must be detail oriented
- Outstanding organization skills
- Superior customer service skills and support to internal and external customers
- Must possess effective oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task with ease despite shifting, complex task deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in a support or specialist position
- Familiarity with workers compensation, insurance claims handling, or insurance concepts beneficial
- Advanced Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with Excel: Common formulas, filter data, search, hide/unhide rows and columns, and remove duplicates
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar high volume work flow tool
