Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our team in providing top-notch maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential property management, facility operations, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to the maintenance team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
- Oversee budgeting, inventory control, procurement, and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure uniformity and excellence in maintenance operations.
- Solicit and evaluate maintenance contract proposals, supervise work safety programs, and manage maintenance supplies.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with college courses or technical school training preferred.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in residential property management, with emphasis on facility management and maintenance, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven competency in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, and building construction, with HVAC, OSHA, EPA compliance, or trade skills/licenses a strong plus.
- Certification as a Universal or Type I/Type II technician from an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved technician certification program preferred.
