Job Title : Programs and Administrative Coordinator at Corvian Community School

Position Summary :

The Programs and Administrative Coordinator is a dual-role position that combines oversight of school programs—including before and after school activities, summer camp platforms, the hot lunch program, and supply management—with administrative support duties. This individual ensures the smooth operation of both programmatic and administrative functions, fostering a safe, engaging environment for students and families while supporting school staff and leadership with organizational and clerical tasks.

Salary Range :

53,000- $58,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities :

Program Coordination

  • Before and After School Program : Plan, implement, and oversee daily operations, ensuring safe and engaging activities that support students’ academic, social, and physical development.
  • Summer Camp Management : Manage summer camp platforms, including online registration, payment processing, and program communications. Monitor enrollment, staffing, and scheduling to ensure successful execution of camp activities.
  • Hot Lunch Program : Coordinate daily hot lunch operations, including vendor management, menu planning, enrollment, and payment tracking, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supply Ordering and Inventory : Oversee supply procurement and inventory for all programs. Source cost-effective vendors, monitor usage, and ensure availability of materials for planned activities.

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate schedules and maintain calendars for program activities, meetings, and events.
  • Support school leadership / admin with clerical tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Manage office supplies, janitorial ordering, oversee campus ordering as needed.
  • General Program and Office Operations

  • Collaborate with school leadership to assess program needs and align initiatives with the school’s mission and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards for all programs.
  • Monitor program and office budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Staff Supervision

  • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, ensuring understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide ongoing support, conduct evaluations, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Qualifications :

  • Four year or two year degree in education, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in managing platforms for registration, payments, and communication.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with office management tools including Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with child safety regulations and school program standards is preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Work Schedule :

    This position requires some flexibility to accommodate program needs, special events, and administrative tasks. Summer hours may be slightly different than school year hours.
