How You'll Contribute to the Team:
The Inventory Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing a team to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse and inventory management system. This position ensures that all supplies, materials, and equipment needed for installation, maintenance, repairs, and services are properly organized, stocked, and readily available. The role is responsible for inventory levels, warehouse operations, safety and compliance, coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate records and budget management to meet the installation team's operational needs.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as a hands-on leader, performing and overseeing all aspects of inventory and warehouse management at an assigned location. Responsibilities include, but not limited to preparing purchase orders, auditing inventory, unloading and stocking inventory, organizing warehouse, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and cleaning protocols.
- Support local Program Manager and Installation Technicians by maintaining appropriate inventory levels of parts necessary to complete work orders (install and maintenance). Analyze product and supply levels to anticipate inventory needs and avoid shortages and waste.
- Maintain awareness of the WELL Standard and product checklist to anticipate inventory needs for installation and replacement of products based on unit floorplans.
- Work with local Program Manager to actively evaluate warehousing strategies and ensure the business function meets the needs of the maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other installation warehouses to share best practices, working towards common inventory and warehouse optimization strategies.
- Update Property Management software for inventory management and asset and inventory distribution.
- Prepare and review ad hoc and regularly scheduled reports; ensure all information is accurate and available within required timeframes. Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory.
- Review budget and spend and verify accuracy. Ensure timely receipt and processing of invoices. Track spend against budget and understand variances.
- Coordinate the timely repair of installation equipment ensuring equipment is fully operational prior to use.
- Lead the recruitment and retention of diverse teams of professionals; create accountability and ownership among team members through communication of clear expectations, supervision, and provision of timely performance feedback .
- Model the highest standards of business professionalism; lead the training and development of team members through coaching, motivating, and mentoring on company culture, safety protocols, business goals, and superior customer service.
- Maintain local fleet needs, including inspections, registration, and maintenance.
- Perform all duties of a Warehouse Coordinator as needed.
- Own and execute special projects as directed by Wellness leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Role Specific Requirements Include:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years’ experience in facilities or warehouse inventory management environment with 1 years’ experience in a supervisory or coordinating capacity preferred.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and inventory planning and forecasting methods.
- Demonstrated ability to organize individual and team activities to ensure operations are highly productive and meet or exceed business goals. Ability to lead a team that is focused on collaboration and accountability.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information and ideas with clarity and precision.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities while being attentive to details.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
- Ability to take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieve results with little oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to make timely decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, financial impact, and risks.
- Computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and property management software.
- Required to provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools related to work requirements.
- Valid driver’s license required and ability to operate a company vehicle including forklifts
- Use of a personal cell phone is required. A BYOD stipend is offered.
