How You'll Contribute to the Team:
The Installation Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the professional, timely and safe installation of Wellness products in various types of buildings to include residential and commercial. These products will require a strong competency with electrical installation fundamentals and safe work practices. The Installation Technician will work at an assigned location to perform various Vitacorps assignments. The ability to produce quality work in a timely and efficient manner, while providing residents with an exceptional customer experience and quality living environment, is at the forefront of this role.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Perform installation and maintenance of plumbing and electrical products associated with the Vitacorps mission.
- Infrequent travel to different properties across the country to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Address maintenance requests and emergencies promptly and efficiently, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations, such as wiring, lighting fixtures and outlets.
- Handle plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogs, fixture installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, repairs, and inventory.
- Provide detailed reports and updates on maintenance tasks, project progress, and any issues encountered during site visits.
- Interact professionally with property owners, residents, and other stakeholders, addressing their maintenance concerns and providing excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the maintenance team, property managers, and supervisors to coordinate work schedules, priorities, and resources.
Role Specific Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in multi-family or housing maintenance, construction, or trades is required. Experience in a traveling or multi-site maintenance role a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and work independently in diverse locations and environments.
- Ability to perform safe maintenance tasks for plumbing and electrical required. HVAC background will also be considered for this position if proficient with both electrical and plumbing trades.
- Ability to demonstrate basic understanding, experience and knowledge of OSHA standards and basic lead asbestos and mold awareness.
- Ability to identify, use, and operate basic maintenance tools.
- Ability to read English and interpret documents and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Customer-focused with the ability to interact with residents in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and assist others performing higher level maintenance duties.
- Technological competency to manage work orders in property management software and perform work order assessments via an online tool.
- Ability to work irregular hours; May be scheduled any day of the week to include Saturdays and Sundays.
- Required to provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools related to work requirements.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Use of a personal cell phone is required. A Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) stipend is offered.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $25.00 to $27.50 per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
