About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corvias team as a Maintenance Technician II working the 2nd shift. In this role, you will have the chance to utilize your skills and experience to provide exceptional customer service to our residents while ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Inspect and perform routine maintenance tasks on homes and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Respond to Resident Requests: Provide prompt and courteous service to residents who submit maintenance requests, addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure Safety Standards: Complete all work tasks in accordance with company safety standards, following proper procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Document Work Tasks: Accurately document all work tasks, including maintenance requests, work orders, and timesheets, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain Community Appearance: Perform regular playground cleanup, trash pick-up, and other related responsibilities to maintain the overall appearance of the community.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years' experience in multifamily or housing maintenance, construction, or trades, with proven competency in two to three trades.
- A commitment to participating in the Corvias training program and the ability to successfully complete all assigned Corvias Classroom courses.
- Above-average knowledge of residential maintenance operations, OSHA regulations, and the use of hand tools.
- The ability to identify and operate any specialty equipment used for specific trades.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a team environment focused on collaboration and accountability, with the ability to train Maintenance Tech I in a hands-on setting.
- Customer-focused with the ability to interact with residents in a professional and courteous manner.
- The ability to read English and interpret documents, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
