Overview
Corvus LLC is a fixed wing and helicopter utility aviation company. We operate in a very dynamic environment and day to day operations can vary in many ways. Our primary industries are aerial application, aerial fire fighting, and aerial wildlife management for government, state and private industries. Our business is somewhat new and growing fast. A great deal of our work is not local but would require little to no travel for this position. We are looking for a proactive individual that is looking to do something different and be part of a close knit, family oriented team. You must be able to work without supervision, take the initiative, possess strong communication skills and have a knack for creating an efficient work environment. As the Office Manager, you will play a critical role in managing schedules, logistics, and ensuring that all office and company functions run smoothly.
Duties
- Office setup and development
- Invoicing, payroll, bill payment, and estimating.
- Safety Management System Compliance and system upkeep
- DOT Compliance
- FAA Compliance
- Parts ordering, inventory, receiving, and shipping.
- Writing and submitting proposals
- Communicating with potential customers and provide welcoming atmosphere for visitors and clients.
- Oversee schedule management for the team, coordinating travel, logistics, and appointments effectively.
- Maintain organizational systems for files and documents, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses and helping to manage office supplies efficiently.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to handle incoming calls and facilitate communication within the office.
- Support various administrative tasks as needed to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in an office management or administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity and understanding with Adobe, Word, Excel, Quick Books software applications
- Experience in supervising staff.
- General Knowledge of business related tax strategy
