Summary : Very busy physician practice. 30-35 patients per day. Organization and ability to multi-task is required. Minimum of two years' experience is a prerequisite, clinic-setting experience preferred.
RN : Performs assigned nursing duties, including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, under the direct supervision of an Physician / Midlevel Provider. Also performs a wide variety of patient care activities including, but not limited to, maintenance of clinical record / documentation, administering medications, giving injections, and taking vital signs. Must be willing to travel to our other clinics.
LVN : Performs assigned nursing duties, including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, under the direct supervision of a Physician, Midlevel Provider or RN. Also performs a wide variety of patient care activities including, but not limited to, maintenance of clinical record / documentation, administering medications, giving injections, and taking vital signs.
Requirements
RN :
- Ability to facilitate communication and problem solving with patients, families, staff physicians, and administration.
- Basic Life Support
- Licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Registered Nurse or possesses a temporary permit to practice nursing in Texas. Nurses with temporary permit has 75 days to take the NCLEX after they receive the Authorization to Test per Texas Board of Nursing. If GN fails NCLEX the temporary permit is revoked by the Texas Board of Nursing and job status at Coryell Medical Clinic will be demoted to position and pay prior to GN status (nurse tech / CNA) or may result in termination.
- Prefer one year or more of nursing clinical experience.
- Prefer the following skills : the ability to multi-task, problem solving, organizational skills, experience using an Electronic Medical Record.
