Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman specializing in single-ply roof systems to lead and manage roofing crews on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TPO and PVC roofing installations, ensuring quality workmanship, job site safety, and project efficiency. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate roofing crews on commercial single-ply roofing projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company and industry standards.
- Maintain daily progress reports and communicate updates with project managers.
- Oversee and participate in the installation of TPO and PVC roofing systems.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure proper material application and adherence to specifications.
- Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and efficiency.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure all crew members wear proper PPE.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Operate and oversee the use of roofing tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Minimize material waste and maintain an organized job site.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a focus on single-ply systems.
- Leadership: Prior experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Lead Roofer.
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in TPO and PVC roofing applications, including heat welding and seam integrity.
- Certifications: OSHA 10/30 (preferred), First Aid/CPR (preferred). Manufacturer certifications in single-ply systems are a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and endure various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
