Part Time Janitor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our store, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role involves performing a variety of custodial tasks and floor care. The Janitor will play a crucial role in upholding the standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
• Maintain floors to ensure they are clean and presentable.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to support facility operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No nights
• Year round work
