What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Coordinator position at COSCO Container Lines Americas, Inc.?
Inside Sales coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing sales support especially during times when AE is on calls or out of the office
- Rate quotations and bid preparation
- Preparing amendment and new s/c requests and submitting them to NASC.
- Submitting requests for additional free time on behalf of customer
- Submitting routing requests for review/approval
- Creating and maintaining CPFs
- Answering calls directed to the sales hunt group and direct calls from customers
- GT Nexus contract maintenance
- Preparing reports for accounts & sales reps upon request
- Interacting w/ accounts through email / phone and assisting them w/ inquires related to: rates, contract terms, tariff rules, customer service, documentation, operational Issues and general shipment inquiries.
- Assisting Account Executives and customers with problem resolution as necessary & liaising with customer service, documentation, and operations to address customer inquiries/ complaints.
Additional Qualifications or Requirements:
- Strong understanding of global transportation pricing methods/processes
- 4 year college degree preferred
- Excellent office skills in Excel, Access Database, Word
- Strong Professional interpersonal skills
