Cosco Fire Protection is the largest fire protection contractor on the west coast and is currently expanding their service operations for their Rocklin / Sacramento, CA District office. The Service Manager must be experienced in the following within the fire sprinkler and fire life safety industry:
- Manage and direct the everyday sales and operational activities of the Service Department.
- Formulate and develop sales goals, plans and procedures for the service department. Once sales strategy is developed the Service Manager is to implement and align the sales strategy with the District General Manager.
- As Service Manager you must execute your own assigned sales activities.
- Manage margin and costs on all service related jobs..
- Competitive activities in the areas of pricing and customer service are observed to keep Cosco Fire Protection, Inc. competitive and profitable.
- New customers are sought out and relationships are developed and nurtured to expand Cosco's customer base.
- Ensure that all proposals and contracts are reviewed for content and accuracy to protect margin.
- Develop and train sales and field leadership personnel on the following criteria: maintaining customer relationships through quotes, anticipating needs, resolving concerns and complaints and providing technical support.
- The level of customer service provided to the customer meets or exceeds company standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a member of the District General Manager’s leadership team and share input and experience for the success of the organization.
- Five or more years of experience in the Fire Protection Industry with particular emphasis sales and service.
- Exceptional presentation skills with demonstrated sales techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a department consisting of diverse personnel.
- Track record of success in the fire protection business.
- Demonstrated leadership and proven negotiation skills and sales achievements.
- Self-motivated and strong desire to succeed with the company.
- Ability to work well independently as well as be a team player.
- Understanding of NFPA, IBC and IFC Codes as they apply to Fire Protection Industry.
- Valid driver license.
- NICET Certified applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for this position
- Minimum five years design experience required
- Must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug
screening.
