What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customs Broker position at COSCO SHIPPING (North America) Inc.?
Sea Trade International, Inc. is seeking a Customs Broker to work in its Secaucus, NJ headquarters office.
Specific responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Handle the release and ISF/entries for vehicles/personal goods being imported into the US via air and ocean; Supervise and ensure accurate and timely processing of ISF and entries Ensure data entry of shipment information for release and billing are accurate and complete Ensure classification and value is correct for U.S. duties/fees Work with clients to ensure all documentation is received and accurate Create and maintain data for shipments in relevant systems Coordinate and prepare entry summary as needed Monitor and route shipment release and arrange any required transportation, warehousing, and distribution Completes a daily report on release and classification and related activities as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree required 1 years of import customs broker experience required
- 1 years of Cargowise software experience required Experience with customs laws, regulations, procedures, and industry practices required Valid current customs broker’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
