Queen’s Price Chopper – Janitor Position
Full-Time or Part-Time
The primary purpose of the Janitor is to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary store environment for customers and employees. Janitors are responsible for general cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and maintenance of backroom and common areas. Janitors should be self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Janitors are responsible for general cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and maintenance of backroom and common areas. Janitors should be self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow all store rules and company policies.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and cleaning vents.
- Respond to spills and other cleaning needs promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report shortages to management.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
