Basic Purpose
To ensure timely maintenance of all compounding and facility equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure optimal usage.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform periodic maintenance of Utility systems including HVAC, Stream, Electrical and Compressed Air.
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform periodic maintenance of Process Systems including Pumps, Mixers and Chilled Water.
• Read basic blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain accurate record information on all repairs.
• Moving of equipment within the facility
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Education/Training/Work Experience
• A high school degree with two years’ experience in maintenance
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Basic tool capabilities including hand tools, measuring devices, power tools and basic shop tools such as bearing press, drill press, saws, pipe threader and welding.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
• Communicate effectively with associates, contractors and vendors.
• Operate forklift and skyjack equipment.
